ABSTRACT

We have been using paper-based chart records for several years at the Bilkent University Health Center. We had difficulties obtaining the desired medical information instantly and doing statistical analysis with this system. We developed a system called BILHealth in our center, using Microsoft Access as the shell and database for the patient records and statistics. We think that using electronic health records is more convenient than paper records with better security and application options.
